Hand-Dipping Beeswax Candles
Yesterday, with our dear friend from The Merry Hearth, we spent a quiet day at home hand-dipping beeswax candles. The process has a rhythmic pattern to it, as we each take turns at dipping, waiting for the wax to drip, and hanging the candle pairs to harden. The sweet, honey-like fragrance of the candles, the warm, pliable wax between our fingers, and the time spent in conversation with one another all helped to create a memorable afternoon together.
