We walked around the charming town, had a simple and delicious dinner, and then drove to the beach. From our vantage point on the shore, we could even spot some seals in the water.
The fine, classic New England architecture of the Cape is characterized by weathered shingles, good mouldings, and understated details. Crushed shells pave most driveways. And climbing roses and hydrangeas, in all their glory, punctuate everyone's landscaping.
Enjoy the views!
