Applesauce Day

On Monday, I was able to procure a bushel of Winesap apples from a local orchard!

And the next day was our applesauce day! Colette set aside five pounds of apples for a pie for Thanksgiving. Some others we saved for drying for snacks. And the rest we made into applesauce, with just a touch of cinnamon and a smidgen of sugar. Delicious!
